An unidentified man was found dead in a sugarcane field in Hacienda Carmenchica, Brgy. DSB, Ponteverdra, Negros Occidental, on Saturday, May 18.
A concerned citizen smelled a pungent odor while applying fertilizer and found the body, the police said.
She then found the decomposing body without any clothes on.
The body was brought to ABE Funeral Homes for further investigation and to determine the identity of the victim.*
