BESO brings city gov’t services closer to people

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said on Tuesday, Dec. 19, that the launching of the Bacolod Express Service Office (BESO) at Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod City is part of his administration’s thrust towards bringing essential services closer to Bacolodnons.

The move towards online transactions is part of the thrust to make doing business with the city government easier and faster, he said.

“In our transformation to a super city, we have to embrace technology,” Benitez said.

The BESO that was launched Monday is a centralized service center for permit processing, land tax payments, senior citizen ID processing, and various other essential services.

It is located on the third floor of Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays to Saturdays.*
