Bacolod Rep. Alfredo Abelardo Benitez on Monday, Nov. 10, said his district office continues to roll out relief operations for families affected by Typhoon “Tino” in Bacolod City.
So far his office has distributed 8,973 packed meals and 3,821 DSWD food packs across affected communities, and accommodated 50 individuals who needed temporary shelter at the height of the typhoon, he said.
In coordination with Councilor Bobby Rojas, 150,000 liters of water were provided to various barangays, along with 20 generator charging stations for residents, Benitez added.
“These past days have tested us, but they also revealed our courage and compassion as a community. Rest assured, we’ll continue delivering assistance where it’s needed as we work toward recovery together,” he said.*
