BCPO reshuffles station commanders   

The Bacolod City Police Office conducted a turnover of office ceremony for several police stations at the BCPO Covered Gym on Wednesday, Jan. 7.

The activity was presided over by BCPO Director Police Col. Joeresty Coronica and formally marked the reassignment and reshuffling of police officers holding key command and staff positions.

PMaj. Rondyl Tapang is now the Assistant Chief of the Command Group, PCapt. Hazel Oropel is Logistics Officer of the Supply Section and PCapt. Rosalino Pugoy Jr. is the Assistant Chief of the City Community Affairs and Development Unit and BCPO spokesperson.

PCapt. Dax Santillan was assigned as Assistant Chief of the City Intelligence and Investigation Management Unit, PCapt. Glenn E. Montaño as Assistant Chief of the Traffic Enforcement Unit, and PCapt. Francis B. Depasucat as Assistant Chief of the Mobile Patrol Unit.

Those designated as officers-in-charge of police stations, are PCapt. Efren Legada – Police Station 1, PCapt. Andro Ma-Apni – Police Station 3, PCapt. Ramie Sayson – Police Station 5, PCapt. Peter John Ramos – Police Station 6, PCapt. Jay-R Reyes – Police Station 7, PCapt. Sherwin Galupar – Police Station 8, and PCapt. Genus David – Police Station 10.

Meanwhile, PLt. Lyzel Guinez was named Assistant Station Commander of Police Station 2, PLt. Conan Gadayan as Assistant Station Commander of Police Station 4, PLt. Regino Robles as General Services Officer, and PLt. Anabellee Abalayan as Assistant Chief of the Communication and Records Management Unit and Officer-in-Charge of the Human Resource and Doctrine Development office.

The reshuffling was undertaken to address organizational requirements, including the need for some officers to attend formal schooling, while allowing other qualified personnel to further demonstrate leadership and professional competence, Coronica said.

Coronica, in his message, emphasized the importance of hands-on and visible leadership among station commanders and reminded them to perform their duties with dedication, professionalism, and integrity.
