A motorist died after he was shot by two unidentified suspects while traveling in Purok Bridal Bouquet, Brgy. North Poblacion, Bacong, Negros Oriental, on Saturday night, May 16.
The victim was identified as Gino Anotado, a resident of Brgy. Sacsac, Bacong.
Police investigation showed the victim was followed by two suspects riding a black Yamaha NMAX motorcycle without a plate number.
The suspects allegedly shot the victim, causing him to fall on the road.
Police said the suspects initially fled but returned to the scene and shot the victim again before escaping in an unknown direction.
The victim was rushed to a hospital in Dumaguete City but was declared dead by attending physicians.*
