Bacolod readies P15M in housing assistance

About P15 million in assistance is being readied for Bacolod residents whose houses were destroyed and damaged by Typhoon Odette, Pacita Tero, Department of Social Services and Development head, said Monday, December 27.

The typhoon destroyed 732 houses and damaged more than 8,000, she said.

She said those whose houses were destroyed will receive P10,000 each, those with moderate damage – P5,000 each and with slight damage – P2,000 each.

Tero said the documents for the release of the funds are being readied.
