A 31-year-old job order employee of the Bacolod City government died after his motorcycle crashed into a parked truck along the Concepcion–Granada Road in Zone 5, Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City, on Saturday, Dec. 6.
Police identified the victim only as alias “Ivan,” a resident of Barangay Alangilan in Bacolod City.
Investigators said he was driving toward Barangay Concepcion when his motorcycle hit the rear of a truck that was parked along the roadside due to mechanical trouble.
The impact caused severe head injuries and multiple wounds that led to his death.
The truck was driven by alias “Jem,” 37, a resident of Brgy. Concepcion.
Police said the victim’s family and the truck driver have agreed to a settlement.*
