Two individuals were arrested and an estimated P340,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation along Magsaysay Avenue, Barangay Taculing, 3:42 a.m . Sunday, July 6.
Alias “Odick” from Barangay 14 and alias “Jomari” from Barangay Taculing were arrested by the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO).
They confiscated approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspects will be charged with violating Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the BCPO said.
The police added that the operation reflects their ongoing commitment to fighting illegal drugs and keeping Bacolod City communities safe.*
