The police arrested two drug suspects and seized about P408,000 worth of suspected shabu in two buy-bust operations in Bacolod City early Saturday morning, March 28.
The Police Regional Office–Negros Island Region said a total of 60 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated in the operations.
Alias “Jew”, 25, was arrested at around 12:35 a.m. in Brgy. 2.
Authorities recovered about 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000, along with the buy-bust money and other items.
In Brgy. 40 at around 1:28 a.m., alias “Bor”, 30, was arrested.
Police said about 35 grams of suspected shabu worth P238,000 were seized from the suspect.
Both suspects were informed of their rights and are now under police custody.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.*
