The police arrested another high-value drug target and confiscated suspected shabu worth P3.32 million in a buy-bust operation in Purok Tangkong, Brgy. 7, Bacolod City, Saturday, Oct. 19.
Arrested was alias “Danilyn”, tagged as a high-value drug personality, for violation of sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession) of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police reported.
The operation, which was conducted by the Bacolod City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), resulted in the confiscation of 475 grams of suspected shabu.
About P6.8 million worth of suspected shabu believed to be supplied for the MassKara Festival was also seized by CDEU operatives on Thursday, Oct. 17.
The CDEU arrested Darel Demafiles, 33, tagged by the police as a high-value drug personality, and recovered 1 kilogram of shabu.*
