The police arrested three Bacolodnons and seized suspected shabu worth P3.48 million in two buy-bust operations on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2, in Bacolod City.
Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and Bacolod Maritime Police Station (MARPSTA) operatives arrested two high-value targets and confiscated 500 grams of suspected shabu in Purok Kabuhi, Brgy. 10 on Friday, All Saints’ Day.
The suspects were identified as alias “John”, and alias “Ellan”, of Barangay 10, who are now in police custody.
The estimated street drug price of the seized suspected shabu was P3,400,000 and the suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police said.
The police said alias “Jennifer” was also arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok Hervias 3, Brgy. Villamonte, on Saturday.
They recovered 12 grams of suspected shabu estimated to cost P81,000 from her, the police said.
The suspect is now detained at the Bacolod City Police Station 4.*
