A 70-year-old fisherman was found lifeless, floating near the shore of Sitio Trozo, Barangay Buluangan, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, Tuesday afternoon, July 8.
The victim was discovered by his cousin around 3 p.m., unresponsive and drifting in the sea.
The victim had been hospitalized from February to March for a heart condition and was on maintenance medication.
The attending physician confirmed that the cause of death was cardiac arrest.
Authorities found no signs of foul play in the incident.*
