Six towns and one city in Negros Occidental are COVID-19 free, a Provincial Incident Management Team (PIMT) report showed Wednesday, March 16.
The areas with no active COVID-19 cases are Binalbagan, Salvador Benedicto, Ilog, Manapla, Pontevedra, Pulupandan, and San Carlos City.
Negros Occidental on Wednesday had 56 active COVID-19 cases.
Except for Bago City that has 10 active COVID-19 cases, the rest of the towns and cities in Negros Occidental have single digit cases, the PIMT report also showed.
Himamaylan City has four active COVID-19 cases, La Castellana, Sipalay City, Talisay City and Valladolid – three each, Candoni, EB Magalona, Hinoba-an, La Carlota City, Moises Padilla, Murcia, Sagay City – two each, Cadiz City, Calatrava, Cauayan, Escalante City, Hinigaran, Isabela, Kabankalan City, San Enrique, Silay City, Toboso and Victorias City – one each, the PIMT added.*
