The Bacolod City government closed six commercial establishments at a downtown mall for lack of business permits on Friday, March 1.
A team from the City Legal Office (CLO) went back to the Bargain Square Mall and found out that six establishments still did not acquire business permits after they were issued notices of closure.
Among the establishments ordered closed was a shop that was found printing T-shirts for the Bacolod City government that appeared to have deliberately removed the tarpaulin bearing its name.
A tailoring shop and a fashion house located at the Plaza Mart were also closed by the CLO.*
