A 5-year-old child drowned at a resort in Brgy. Daga, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
The kindergarten 2 pupil of Brgy. Tinampa-an, Cadiz, drowned in a swimming pool, the police said.
The mother said her son was discovered lifeless by other guests at about 6 p.m., the police added.
The victim who was brought to the Cadiz City Emergency Clinic was pronounced dead due to asphyxiation secondary to drowning.*
