4 nabbed in Bacolod, P204K in shabu seized

A wanted street-level drug suspect was arrested and P136,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, April 8.

Police identified the suspect as alias “Oteng,” 34, a Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council-listed individual.

Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested the suspect selling a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer in Barangay.

About 20 grams of suspected shabu were confiscated during the operation.

The suspect is detained, while the evidence will be submitted for laboratory examination.

Meanwhile, a drug den was dismantled and three individuals were arrested in Brgy. 8, Bacolod City, on Tuesday, April 7, by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives and partner units.

Police identified the suspects as alias “John,” 27, tagged as the maintainer, alias “Gerald,” 45, the employer, and alias “Charlie,” 35, a visitor.

Authorities seized 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing about 10 grams with an estimated value of P68,000. The suspects are now under police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
