At least 35 drug suspects were arrested in 23 operations conducted by police in the Negros Island Region from April 1 to 5.
The Police Regional Office reported that 188.89 grams of suspected shabu and 9 grams of marijuana with a total estimated value of P1,284,452 were seized.
Police also arrested 27 wanted persons, including 13 most wanted individuals and 14 other wanted persons.
In operations against illegal gambling, 57 individuals were arrested in 17 operations, with P9,834 in bet money confiscated.
Meanwhile, 19 operations against loose firearms led to the confiscation of nine firearms, surrender of four, and accounting of 15 others, along with one explosive.
Police said the figures reflect intensified operations against illegal drugs, criminality, and loose firearms in the region.*
