City Legal Officer Karol Joseph Chiu*
Formal charges have been filed against three city employees for failure return vehicles assigned to them, City Legal Officer Karol Joseph Chiu said on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
They have been charged for dishonesty, grave misconduct and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of service, he said.
Two of the employees are from the Office of the Building Official and one from the Office of the City Accountant, Chiu said.
They tried to request the Commission on Audit for relief from liability. The COA, however, replied that the vehicles had long been missing and it is only now that they have sought relief, Chiu said.*
