The police arrested 12 individuals and seized more than P1 million worth of suspected shabu in a series of anti-drug operations in Bacolod City from March 16 to 22.
The Bacolod City Police Office said about 159 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,081,200 and 30 grams of marijuana worth P3,600 were confiscated in nine operations.
The arrested individuals are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the police said.
The Bacolod police also said they arrested 12 wanted persons during the same period.
Three individuals were apprehended in anti-illegal gambling operations, with P757 in bet money recovered.
Police added that four loose firearms were voluntarily surrendered.*
